A useful inward record connects the customer, receipt date, material description and requested tests. Use a consistent reference so the sample can be matched to its job and report later.

What is GeoLIMS?

GeoLIMS is a laboratory information management system that brings customer records, laboratories, material and test catalogues, inward jobs, reports and accounts into a shared application.

Which parts of my laboratory workflow can I manage?

The application includes company users and roles, customers, laboratories, materials, tests, inward jobs, laboratory reports, invoices, payments, ledgers and GST reports. Access to modules depends on the permissions assigned to your account.

Can I work with more than one laboratory?

GeoLIMS includes laboratory management and a laboratory selector, so users can work in the context of the laboratory they have access to. Your available laboratories depend on your account configuration.

How do team permissions work?

Company administrators can manage users, roles and permissions. These permissions determine which modules and actions a team member can access.

Does using GeoLIMS certify my laboratory or test results?

No. Laboratory accreditation, test methods, calibration, technical review and regulatory obligations remain the responsibility of your laboratory. Using management software does not itself provide accreditation or certify results.

How do I get started?

Sign in with the account provided by your organisation. If you need access, contact your company administrator. Available laboratories and modules depend on your assigned permissions.
